Lee Harris Energy Tips for a HeartFelt Life

Inspiring people, mind hacking, The mind

I’ve recently found this guy called Lee Harris Energy Intuitive healer and speaker.  On my nightly watch on Gaia.com I came across an interview with him and Regina.

So I have researched and listened to tonnes of his youtube videos and been using his tools in my daily practice and within my life.  I would like to share with you some of the tips I have taken from what he lives and breathes.

untitled

Lee Harris and his channeling seek to remind that when you live from your heart, your instinct is allowed to begin guiding you, rather than your mind. The human mind can easily become weighed down with beliefs that are not your own, and ways of being that have simply become habit, rather than your truth. To be living from your heart and your intuition, without limitation, is to bring bliss and abundance back into your life and the lives of those around you. Lee works with his Spirit Guides to bring this message through his channeling.

  1. After listening to a whole variety of spiritual teachers, scientists and self help gurus I find one thing is always prevalent in their teachings and that is that Our Heart is much more important than we once thought.  Quieting the mind and really focus our energy on our heart centre and feeling love and gratitude for our lifes.

2) Your role as human is to be human and to let the spirit and the light come through you as much as you possibly can.

And yet this also means you let the core of humanity and all of its collective ideals, failures, tragedies, joys, areas of greatness and areas of weakness, run through your system because you are a product of ancient history.

But you are also the future – and to those 200 years from now, you will be part of their ancient history. So it is a continuum.

3)  To be overwhelmed should not be seen as a failing.

To master overwhelm should not be seen as an achievement. Instead it is a moment in time, meaning as you grow and change and the world around you grows and changes, that moment in time is going to continually expand.

People around you will continually expand and you yourself will have to find anew your position, your centre, every single day.

So take that in for a moment – this idea that you aren’t getting anything wrong – you are simply on a rapidly expanding planet that you couldn’t possibly understand with your mind.

That’s not because you don’t have a mind that can comprehend everything and that is a failing. It is that you have a mind that can’t comprehend what is going on because the mind tracks history, and change is hitting all of you at an unprecedented rate.

4)  Silent awareness will be your ally in these golden years, for the human world has been hyper-doing and hyper-externalized.

In an age where the internal is becoming as valued and as powerful as the external, the internal will be one of the safest places to be in the coming few decades as the Earth goes through so many changes.

You will have to come back to the voice of your soul to know what the new road map is for this planet.

Benefits of Reflexology

Reflexology, Therapy Info

Reflexology
Reflexology applies pressure to a range of particular points on your hands and feet that correspond with all the organs, glands, tissues and muscles in your body. This helps improve circulation of blood, oxygen and ‘qi’ around the body, relieving stress and healing pain in other parts of the body.

adult alternative medicine care comfort

What is reflexology?
We are all familiar with the classic ‘knee-jerk’ response – the doctor taps the patient below the knee, and his lower leg bounces up into the air – if you do something to one part of the body you can cause a reaction in another part.

Reflexology applies this response to the whole body. By applying pressure to points on your feet and hands, you can treat and heal problems elsewhere in the body.
Reflexology is based on similar principles to acupuncture and some types of massage – that our bodies are mapped by channels of energy, or “qi” (pronounced “chee’); we feel pain, or generally unwell, when the flow of that energy is blocked in some way. By putting pressure on one part of these channels, the reflexologist sends an impulse or message all the way along it, which unblocks it and encourages the energy to flow freely again.

This in turn brings us back into good health and a sense of balance and well-being, and stimulates our body’s own healing responses.

What is reflexology good for?
Many people go to see a reflexologist as they might go for a massage: to help with their general health, and to make them feel relaxed and calm. But because it is such a comprehensive treatment, reflexology can help you in many other ways, with anything from a trapped nerve to depression.
Reflexology is recommended by doctors for a variety of conditions, including:
back pain and muscle strain
sports injuries
stress
anxiety and depression
sleep and eating disorders
poor circulation
irritable bowel syndrome
migraine
pre-menstrual tension
symptoms of the menopause
breathing difficulties such as asthma

Before you go
It doesn’t really matter what you wear when you go for reflexology, as they will focus mainly on your feet, and then possibly hands. Out of courtesy and kindness of course, it is a good idea to make sure that your feet are clean and fragrant!

Precautions
You should always let your therapist know:
of any medical conditions you have, and treatment or medication you are receiving
if you are, or think you might be, pregnant
if you have recently had an operation or surgery
if you have had any injuries that might affect your treatment – such as a recently healed broken ankle
as this may affect the type of treatment you can have.
What to expect from reflexology
On the first visit, the reflexologist will chat with you about your general health and lifestyle.

Reflexology is not a foot massage. The reflexologist may massage your feet a little to relax you before they start, but the technique itself is about applying firm pressure to specific points on the foot.
The technique can feel a bit odd at first; it can also be a bit overwhelming. Imagine a pain you have had for years in your shoulder melting away in seconds as someone puts pressure on the ball of your foot! Tension can be released, and pain dissolved, very quickly.

A treatment session usually lasts for about an hour. You will probably get a lot out of a single session but you may want to have several more.

Afterwards

You are likely to feel very relaxed after a session; you may feel like having a snooze or a long bath, and luxuriating in the feeling a bit longer. On the other hand, depending on your treatment, you may feel really energised. Some people even feel tearful afterwards, just from the release of tension.

Your reaction is not always predictable but the likelihood is that you’ll feel much better when you come out than you did when you went in.

Guided Body Scan

This guided body scan meditation is intended to help you enter a very deep state of relaxation. It is best if you can manage to stay awake throughout the entire exercise. It’s important to remember to not try to relax. This will just create tension. What you’ll be doing instead is becoming aware of each passing moment and just accepting what is happening within you, seeing it as it is. Let go of the tendency of wanting things to be different from how they are now and allow things to be exactly as you find them. Just watch the activity of your mind, letting go of judgmental and critical thoughts when they arise, and just doing what the exercise guides you to do as best you can.
Lie down in a warm and private place, dressed in loose and comfortable clothing at a time when you will not be interrupted. Closing your eyes, and letting your arms lie alongside your body, your feet falling away from each other and slowly bringing your attention to the fact that you are breathing. Not trying to control your breath in any way but simply experiencing it as the air moves in and out of your body and noticing your abdomen and feeling the sensations there as your breath comes into your body and your abdomen gently expands. Then noticing your belly deflate as the breath comes out of your body. And following the rhythmic movement of each breath…the rising of your belly on the inbreath and on each outbreath just letting go, letting your body become heavy as it sinks a little bit deeper into relaxation. Just bringing full attention to each breath in each moment.
Now bringing your attention to your feet, becoming aware of whatever sensations are there. If you are registering a blank as you tune in, then just experiencing nothing. And as you breathe in, imagine your breath moving all the way down to your feet and then when you reach your feet, begin your outbreath and let it move all the way up your body and out your nose. So that you’re breathing in from your nose and breathing out from your feet. And when you are ready, letting your feet dissolve in your mind’s eye. Become aware of the shins and calf muscles and the sensations in the lower legs, not just on the surface but right down into the bones, experiencing and accepting what you feel here and breathing into it, then breathing out from it. Then letting go of your lower legs as you relax into the bed or mat. And moving now into the thighs and if there’s any tension just noticing that. Breathing into and out from the thighs. Then letting your thighs dissolve and relax.
Shift your attention to your pelvis now. From one hip to the other. Noticing your buttocks in contact with the bed or the mat. And the sensations of contact and of weight. Becoming aware of the region of the genitals. And whatever sensations or lack of sensations you are experiencing. And directing your breath down into your pelvis, breathing with the entirety of your pelvis. And as you breath out, moving the breath back up through your body and out your nose, letting your pelvis soften and release all tension as you sink even deeper into a state of relaxed awareness and stillness. Totally present in each moment. Content to just be, and to just be right here as you are right now. Direct your attention now to your lower back. And just experiencing your back as it is. Letting your breath penetrate and move into every part of your lower back on the in-breath. And on the out-breath, just letting any tension, any tightness, any holding on just flow out as much as it will. And then letting go of your lower back. And moving up into your upper back now. Just feeling the sensations in your upper back. You may even feel your ribcage, in back as well as in front, expand on the in-breath. And any tightness, fatigue or discomfort in this part of your body, just letting them dissolve and move out with the outbreath as you let go and sink even deeper into stillness and relaxation.
And now shifting your attention to your belly again and experiencing the rising and falling of your belly as you breathe. Feeling the movements of your diaphragm, that umbrella-like muscle that separates your belly from your chest. And experiencing the chest as it expands on the in-breath and deflates on the out-breath. And if you can, tune into the rhythmic beating of your heart within your chest. Feeling it if you can. As well as the lungs expanding on either side of your heart. Just experiencing your chest, your belly, as you lie here…the muscles on the chest wall, the breasts, the entirety of the front of your body. And now just letting this region dissolve into relaxation as well.
Moving your attention now to your fingertips and to both hands together, just becoming aware of the sensations now in the tips of your fingers and thumbs where you may feel some pulsations from the blood flow, a dampness or a warmth or whatever you feel. Just feeling your fingers. And expand your awareness to include the palms of your hands and the backs of your hands and your wrists. And here again perhaps picking up the pulsations of the arteries in your wrists as the blood flows to and from your hands. And becoming aware as well of the forearms. And the elbows. Any and all sensations regardless of what they are. Allowing the field of your awareness to include now the upper arms. Right up to your shoulders. Just experiencing your shoulders and if there are any tensions, breathing into your shoulders and arms. And letting that tension dissolve as you breathe out. Letting go of the tension and letting go of your arms. All the way from your fingertips, right through to your shoulders. As you sink even deeper into a state of relaxed awareness. Just being present in each moment. Letting go of whatever thoughts come up or whatever impulses to move and just experiencing yourself in this moment.
And now focus your attention on your neck and throat and feel this part of your body, experiencing what it feels like perhaps when you swallow and when you breathe. And then letting it go. Letting it relax and dissolve in your mind’s eye. Becoming aware of your face now. Focusing on the jaw and the chin, just experiencing them as they are.
Becoming aware of your lips and your mouth. And becoming aware of your cheeks now…and your nose, feeling the breath as it moves in and out at the nostrils. And be aware of your eyes. And the entire region around your eyes and eyelids. And if there’s any tension, letting it leave as the breath leaves. And now the forehead, letting it soften to let go of stored emotions. And the temples. And if you sense any emotion associated with the tension or feelings in your face, just being aware of that. Breathing in and letting the face dissolve into relaxation and stillness. And now become aware of your ears, and back and top of your head. Now letting your whole face and head relax. For now, just letting it be as it is. Letting it be still and neutral. Relaxed and at peace.
Now letting your breath move through your entire body in whatever way feels natural for you. Through the entire length of your body. All of your muscles in a deep state of relaxation. And your mind simply aware of this energy, of this flow of breath. Experiencing your entire body breathing. Sinking deeper and deeper into a state of stillness and deep relaxation. Allow yourself to feel whole. In touch with your essential self in a realm of silence, of stillness, of peace. And seeing that this stillness is in itself healing. And allowing the world to be as it is beyond your personal fears and concerns. Beyond the tendencies of your mind to want everything to be a certain way. Seeing yourself as complete right now as you are. As totally awake right now.
As the exercise ends, bring your awareness back to your body again, feeling the whole of it. You may want to wiggle your toes and fingers. Allow this calmness and this centeredness to remain with you when you move. Congratulate yourself on having taken the time to nourish yourself in this way. And remember that this state of relaxation and clarity is accessible to you by simply paying attention to your breath in any moment, no matter what’s happening in your day. Let your breath be a source of constant strength and energy for you.

21 day Reiki Cleanse

reiki

Reiki is an extremely powerful tool for healing. Often people consider Reiki a therapy to learn so that they can treat others. They overlook the fact that Reiki is first and foremost a self-healing tool. This is exactly what I found on my journey with reiki.

I started out learning reiki to add to my list of therapies for healing others, never did I imagine how it would affect me. I heard from people it is a lifestyle but my first few years with reiki was on and off and I never fully understood this, until more recently. I believe in everyone’s life you can rediscover things you already knew but they can take on a whole new meaning. What is for you will definitely not go past you.

Reiki teaches you to be the best version of yourself.

All too often we live in a state of imbalance. We eat processed foods complete with chemicals and toxins. We lead very busy lives and fail to take time out to relax. We also don’t sleep sufficiently, then we try to counter our tiredness with caffeine and when we do want to relax we can use substances such as food, chocolate, alcohol and cigarettes to assist that relaxation. All of which add to the levels of toxins in our bodies.

Once Reiki begins to work it will redress the imbalance, hence the clearing process. For example, after your Reiki attunement, you may find you have a thirst you can’t quench and therefore have to drink copious amounts of water. This is Reiki’s way of helping us to clear the toxins from our bodies. The cleansing process helps to clear away all sorts of imbalances and blockages that we have. This includes all mental, emotional and physical aspects.
When we have lived our lives in a state of imbalance for so long, it will begin to feel normal. When that balance is shifted, we can struggle with that change and begin to feel emotions and physical symptoms that we don’t feel comfortable with. This is just our body’s way of dealing with the change. Everyone has their own experience of Reiki and no two people are exactly the same but often people report experiencing/feeling:-
• Irritable
• Emotional (highs and lows)
• Detached (and wanting to spend time alone)
• Serene Calmness
• Shaky
• Nauseous
• Fatigued
• Symptoms of physical detoxification such as extreme thirst
• Vivid dreams

I have experienced anxiety and confusion which lead me to believe I was a fake and a failure and how could I possibly help anyone else if I can’t even help myself.

Then I reminded myself over and over again of the precepts and I noticed that I was not being compassionate towards myself. The quietening of the mind and rebalancing of the chakras had brought out unresolved issues that I was now able to deal with. This can put people off from learning reiki and mediation but until we learn to face our dark side we can never truly overcome it. With practice, the faith and belief that reiki is within us and is here for only our higher good we can know that we are never alone and are all part of the energy field of reiki.

Reiki will work on bringing your chakras into balance throughout this cleansing process. It will begin with your base chakra and work its way through all the others until it reaches the crown chakra. It takes around 3 days for the energy to move through each of the 7 chakras and this is the reason for the clearing taking approximately 21 days.

In order to help yourself through this clearing process I would suggest that you:-
• Make time to treat yourself with Reiki every day.
• Drink plenty of water
• Reduce, or cut out, your intake of processed foods and eat a well balanced diet.
• Reduce, or cut out, your intake of toxins such as alcohol, nicotine and caffeine.
• Keep a journal so that you can monitor your progress. Record your thoughts and emotions, often this can help with a release of any mental or emotional blockages.
As you are attuned to each level of Reiki you will experience a cleansing process and may find that you experience similar symptoms, but equally you could have a very different experience each time.
Please do not read the above and worry about this process. It is important to know that Reiki always works for your highest and greatest good, so trust what is happening, because Reiki will always know what is right for you.
The Cleansing Process

Everybody experiences different symptoms during cleansing. Just like when you start cleaning dusty areas, the dust first rises up in the air, a Reiki attunement causes the negativities to be released from our body via minor problems.
Depending on the degree you have been attuned to, your cleansing process might involve minor physical, emotional or spiritual problems. After any attunement, have complete faith and watch what happens for the first 21 days. There might be some discomfort, but that is no cause for alarm. You will slowly start feeling more and more comfortable as days pass after the cleansing period.

Daily Practice
The importance of daily practice cannot be over-stressed. We are surrounded all day by germs, negative thoughts and emotions, and energy-snatching components. By the end of the day, we pick up negative energies and our energy level is also low because people, events and thoughts have siezed it from us.
Daily practice is a way to fill up on this lost energy and cleanse the accumulated negativities. Even though a major portion of the cleansing takes place in the first 21 days, the subsequent days also add towards the cleansing. It takes about three months for the true effects of Reiki to start showing. Daily practice not only makes you healthier physically, but adds to your progress mentally, spiritually and in other aspects of your life as well.

Short-cut Self Healing
The more one practices Reiki everyday, the better it is for that person. However, there are some days when we are too tired to complete the entire procedure, and we are tempted to skip the self-healing altogether. On such days, there is an alternative way.
There are seven main chakras in our body, and typically, we heal the front and back of these chakras, along with a few more points. When we have too little time, we may heal only the front of these seven chakras. Considering that you heal each chakra for three minutes each, the practice will be over in 21 minutes. If they are healed for two minutes each, the entire self healing will be over in 15 minutes.
If you are practicing short-cut self healing on two consecutive days, on the second day, heal the back of the chakras instead of the front – this will help keep your energy more balanced.
This technique should be used only occasionally and you must try to practice the complete self healing as much as possible, Complete self healing should be practiced
ATLEAST twice a week.
Time contraints are only in the mind, and if you make Reiki a priority, you will never have too little time for Reiki. Practice Reiki when you’re in the bus, while watching television, while on the phone, or in meetings. If you are embarrased to keep your hands on the chakras, place your hands on your knees and give Reiki.

The Effect of Reiki
Daily practice is extremely beneficial to a channel. It is almost as if a guiding light constantly monitors your progress and well-being. At times, we find that our friend circle is changing, for Reiki causes people who don’t contribute to our progress to drift away, and attracts those people who contribute to our progress in some way. Some describe the feeling as a soft blanket keeping them safe and warm all the time.
Reiki takes you in the direction that you want to go. While some people experience gigantic leaps in their spiritual journey, others remain in the same state for years. It is up to you to make a conscious effort to determine what matters the most to you in your life, and work in that direction. Reiki will accelerate your progress in that direction.

One needs to have faith in Reiki that whatever is happening to us, is for our own good alone. Becoming a Reiki channel does not mean that you will never have any problems again, or that you will never fall sick again. Problems and pitfalls are often triggers for our progress, and if they are needed, you will be blessed with them. The advantage with Reiki is, it helps you get back up on your feet faster.
Reiki does not work for negative intentions. If you wish bad for somebody and send Reiki to harm him/ her, it will not work. Think positive and wish everyone well.
